Oooo...my sixth post in one month!

Not sure I've ever done that before. Now if only I could remember what I've done lately.
Thought about going back to school. I officially finished my ICL course. I should be getting my graduation certificate in the mail any time now.
What I mostly discovered from taking the ICL course is that I don't think I want to be a professional writer. It's stressful, time consuming and not very high-paying. :(
Well, David's here, so my blogging must end for the moment. Probably the month.

Heidi, since you have a college degree, it would take you only about 6 months to become a paralegal and they make about $50,000 a year. I can look into it for you if you are interested or you can look into it.
Hope you are having a wonderful day my beautiful, wonderful Heidi. Lots of love.

Really? That would be something worth looking in to... Yes, I would be interested into you looking into it for me. I don't have to type faster than 50 words/minute do I? That's about where I max out. Thank you, my cute, wonderful Mommy! :) <3 <3 <3

Hi again, Becky is starting back to slcc soon as a health co-ordinator person student. I think it takes 4 months, but I don't know how much they make. You could ask her about it.
slcc has a paralegal program. I would have to call them and ask them about it and what you would have to do since you already have a bachelor's degree. Larry says there is Obama money for women who want to go back to school. love you lots.

Hi, Mom - I looked into the health coordinator person thingy and it's basically what I'm doing now, so I don't think I'll go to school for that.
I looked up the SLCC paralegal info. It looks like it takes 2 years whether you've got a Bachelor's Degree or not. I'd probably be able to get out of 4 of the 22 classes, but I'd still have to take 55 credit hours.
So, I guess its back to if I want to be a Physical Therapist Assistant or a Web Developer. Either of those takes 2-3 years for an Associate’s Degree. Web Developers make $35/hr, PTAs make $22/hr. I know PTAs are in high demand. Not sure about Web Developers.
It's good to know there's money out there somewhere for me to go back to school. I guess I'll have to find it. It's also good that I'm feeling well enough to think about going back to school. :)

web developers make good money. what do you have to do to become one of those? glad you're feeling lots better than you have been. you are such a faithful lady to take care of your health. you are good at everything you do. love you lots. that info that i read about paralegals only taking 6 months if you had a college degree must have been dreaming. love you lots

Where did you read about becoming a paralegal in 6 months if you have a college degree? I'm curious. The only 2 paralegal programs approved by the ABA in Utah are SLCC & UVU. Maybe it was an on-line thing?
To become a web developer it looks like most places want you to have a BS in computer science, although they will take experience instead. SLCC has an Associate's Degree in Web Development, so I guess that would be a start.

Mom, maybe you weren't so far off about the paralegal thing. I was looking on the Utah Bar Association website about what it takes to apply for membership in the paralegal division. One of the ways is: "Successful completion of a baccalaureate degree in any field and two continuous years of full‑time experience as a paralegal under the ultimate supervision of a duly licensed attorney."
So, apparently, if I have a bachelor's degree in anything at all I can become a paralegal. Maybe it wouldn't even take 6 months! I should probably set up a job shadow with a paralegal and ask him/her all my questions. I think my friend Mary Ann is a paralegal. I'll have to ask her.
Maybe I'll do that after I finish my taxes. It would be nice to make $40,000-$50,000 a year!
